Established by a committed group of Plainville community leaders - Dolly Chamberlin, Helen Bergenty, Rita Dewyea, Ken Gnazzo, Robert Lee, Peg Matteo, Bill Petit and Jim Welch - to encourage interested citizens to pool their donations as a permanent source of funding for charitable projects and programs that will enhance the quality of life for Plainville residents. Many others have now joined the Founding group in building this endowed fund and the first grants will be given out in 2008.
